Matt Lorimer has a breadth of knowledge in the Human Resource field through his work with a diverse group of Fortune 500 companies. Matt worked for Progressive Insurance, Johnson Matthey, and General Dynamics (Gulfstream) where he gained experience in secondary education recruiting fairs, community skill focused job fairs, corporate interviewing, and employee benefits consulting. Throughout his career, Matt has written multiple company handbooks and has lead corporate initiatives for performance management through team development.
Matt is responsible for training key managers in matters of leadership in an effort to create a leadership team within the organization. Matt is tasked with translating strategic corporate priorities into specific goals while developing plans to address them, with an eye toward quality, scalability and growth.
Matt assists the company with maximizing its investment in outside council if needed. He provides guidance to key company members on matters of risk management and advises key leaders regarding the execution of legal documentation.
Matt holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Management Studies from the University Of Maryland. He earned his Project Management Credential (PMP) in 2012 with the Project Management Institute and completed all five blocks of the APICS (Supply Chain Management) Certification. He is a decorated Combat Veteran who served his combat tours abroad in the Middle East.
